This is just kinda about the no smoking, I am still not smoking-almost a year and 7 months now. This is more about the weight gain situation.
I have lost all the lazy, fat, depression weight. Now I am losing the smoking weight gain. Next will be the China fat gain, and the last will be the not working and not working out weight. I find it easier to work on one block at a time.
My angel DIL sent me some lovely Loccitane products and a fabulous candle.
Life is good, Bestest friend had her breast cancer surgery today and so far so good.

I am really pleased for you. It is a major achievement to be able to give up smoking. I gave up 20 years ago this month.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I am completely comfortable with it. Happy times.
DeleteI quit, but I don't remember when, except it was Obama's first term and federal cigarette taxes went way up. I bought my last forty odd dollar carton, smoked 'em, and that was it. Good for all of us.
ReplyDeleteYou were better than me, I think I payed 75 for the last carton.
DeleteGood for you for now smoking-but at $75 a cartoon, I might have to start smuggling cigarettes up from NC, it could pay for my transportation cost of visiting my parents...
DeleteI had a friend who smoked those and when she ran out she complained the cigarettes from the stores here were stale.
