I am the Queen of ESP or been there, done that

Limelight Hydrangea just starting to turn, a few weeks ago. Will get a new photo soon.

Well,  you regular readers you may recall the pile of scrap parts no one wanted to deal with. Where there's a will there's a way. They called the supplier quality people and told them those were all my bad parts. So I got written up and my plant had to expedite parts. Yes, I can get it mostly reversed but the one thing you can never get reversed is the money. It is a dirty little secret in the industry. The big auto companies nickle and dime the suppliers into what actually amounts to big money at the end of the year. And they still expect us to buy them coffee, donuts, lunch and baseball tickets out of our own pockets and meager profits. Cheap bastards.

Major props to Big Daddy, he did the main work on cleaning out the frig and freezer. Hate that job but it must be done. Now everything is in proper order as I like to keep some food in the freezer in the winter in case of late nights and bad weather. And speaking of bad weather I need to get the "next to the down coat" ready for Monday and the down coat on stand by. This morning 38 degrees, and when you are walking the quarter mile to the door in the wind at 7 am, well it is a bit nippy.

I had a dream the other night I started smoking again. I was so upset with myself for starting up this nasty habit again. I don't think you ever get to the point of never thinking about it again but I am so grateful to not have that monkey on my back anymore. If the thought crosses my brain now I just picture lighting up a 10 dollar bill, and as we all know of my love for jewelry I can't justify burning money that could be spent on a new bauble. Or better yet an old bauble.

Off to do laundry and get ready for the fresh hell I know Monday will bring.

Smirnoff Vodka

I forgot to show you my birthday earrings from last year. Citrine, one of my favorites.

Sunday was my 2 year anniversary of not smoking any longer. Wish it was also my anniversary of any length of time for not being fat any longer.

With all the snow gone I have discovered the newest trends in automotive plant alcohol consumption. Yes, all the bottles are now on the bare ground instead of being hidden in the snow. Smirnoff Vodka is the winner and I am amazed it is now available in plastic bottles. So much safer than having broken glass all over the parking lots.

Some asshat engineer is running a trial tomorrow and keeps changing the time I will be there. He does not know he is working with a wily part time person. This should be fun.

I woke up this morning to 70 degrees at 4 AM and tonight it is supposed to snow. This winter does not want to give it up.

Grumpy Grumpy Grumpy

Everyone is grumpy. Big Daddy is grumpy bacause he is under visual management. This is a tool I learned at Plant Loco. Constantly watch and then later criticize Big Daddy for not doing what I wanted him to do. Of course the difference is, Big Daddy does shit I don't want him to do on the sly and then acts innocent. Not happening buddy. Get with the program. Spring Clean Guest Room is next. Period.

GrrDog is grumpy and I think it is because he has no hair. GrrDog had a spa day and came home with really fluffy ears and not much else. And he has gas. Really bad gas.

I am grumpy trying to get my new vapors up and running. The pen style seems to be better for me, lasts longer and the chocolate flavor seems to help change from the real cigs to the vapors. Its just the charging that seems to be a problem. I do think that after I get this in line having completely separate items will be a boon to Big Daddy and I both converting to this method. Big Daddy is doing great. Hasn't smoked a real cig in a while.

I did pretty good yesterday after I got the program going but this morning something happened and I am not sure what I did wrong. The primary only worked for and hour and started blinking. Blinking means no charge. Changed to the charged one and it blinked, WTF. Went to the new one and had semi success for a few hours. Changed to the re-charged first one and am back on track. Learning curve. But for every cig I don't smoke one step forward.
