Sweden. That is my newest readership. Frankly, I do not trust the audience thing on the blog and only check for my own amusement. But why not discuss why I might appeal to some folks. Sweden used to make the Saabs, hell maybe they still do, and I used to drive them. Don't know what happened to them after GM cut the tow rope.
Just in case anyone has a problem with occasional bags under their eyes, or yea-baggy eyes- I have a solution that works for me. It is called Puff Off. It is available at Sephora and comes in a tube with a little iron attachment. Think Monopoly. You squeeze the tube and the stuff goes on your under eye and you iron it flat. I swear to all that this shit works. I thought I was scammed by this stuff and today I looked in the mirror and thought WTF, you look like you slept 2 minutes. Put this stuff on and I swear in a few minutes I looked normal. Good Stuff.
I found a new great read, Maeve's Times, In Her Own Words by Maeve Binchy. It seems early on she wrote for the Irish times and this is a collection of her writings. I love it and prolly the last thing left written by her I have not read. I am really enjoying this one.
Friday is becoming my new favorite day, this is the day I go out and get a sandwich from a special and wonderful place. This sandwich is beyond all expectations. I cannot tell you where but be happy for me. I may make this a twice weekly treat. Except tomorrow it is supposed to be 15 below zero and I don't know if that is gonna work for me.
Work is so fucked up it is insane. And now they want me to take this paperwork in and get it signed off and sent back so they can be "really good suppliers". I am like, really, I am the last person that should be doing this and I for one do not care if you make the cut or not.

Random Ranting
My mother wanted to see the European tri color beech tree, I planted this the year my dad died. It has not yet started to turn.
Well, I still do not have a kitchen floor. There was too much tomfoolery going around and then I remembered, Riemer Floors. Well we called, they quoted, my certificate for air worthiness is ready and yes, they cost a bit more-but they will be much better. Floor goes in the 9th and we will all just have to deal with the nasty floor type thing left behind. Sammy the Spanky dog dropped his stuffed fooshie toy on the floor and was afraid to pick it up. Oh, yea I should take a photo.
It is not looking good for my vehicle launch. I should know this evening if they are going to struggle on or take a break and review the situation. Either choice is very expensive. The asshats in the engineering side are once again asking for the exact hours I work. There are no exact hours and for some reason my bosses are afraid to admit I get time and a half over forty hours, and they try and avoid over 40 hours like the devil is chasing their tails. Monday I worked 10.5 and that is causing some unhappy faces.
I don't know how, but Big Daddy found a book by Maeve Binchy, Light a Penny Candle, that I had never read. It is glorious, I am so happy.

The Weekend Snippets
Friday morning was pedicure time and wouldn't you know it we had a snow storm. An unpredicted snow storm. They said a flake or two and I had 4 inches on the front of my car in 90 minutes. Big Daddy cleaned it off before he left and I still had a mess. That reminds of a past snow cleaning. I was in Tennessee on a business trip and our return flight was delayed due to the weather. It was a bad snowstorm and we were flying into Detroit Metro rather late at night. It was extremely cold and all the cars were buried under a massive amount of snow at Airlines Parking. All except mine. Big Daddy had traveled to the lot and scraped the snow off my car. I don't know how he convinced the people he was not parking only scraping but he did. And I was teased for awhile on that one.
Saturday was hair day and we altered the front a bit so I look less like a crone and friendlier, still blond blond of course.
We made a new recipe from our Christmas present to ourselves cookbook, Screen Doors and Sweet Tea, pimento cheese. And it is delicious. I cannot wait to eat it today. And we are making lasagna which I have not made in 4 or 5 years so that should be interesting. Saturday we had duck cassoulet and it was divine.
BD is now hooked on House of Cards, that is such a good show. TV is boring right now, Survivor and Swamp People. Nashville returns next week.
I just finished The Beach Trees, a book by Karen White and it was pretty good. Murder mystery in the south both Biloxi and New Orleans are featured. Next I am reading Private Berlin by James Patterson. I am ordering A Week in Winter by Maeve Binchy, I did not know there was one left to publish after she died. I just adore her books.
Next, our music story.
